有些人意志力很強，雖然接二連三遭遇挫折，卻不屈不撓，期望終有成功的一天，不過有些人卻太有傻勁，明明不可能的事情卻偏不放棄，讓人不得不對他說：Give it up already! 該認輸就要認輸。要勸人別再逞強，還可以說：That’s enough.（已經夠了）、Let it go!（放手吧），都有「別再ㄍㄧㄥ了」之意。

例句：

A：I told you I’m a tough guy! See, eating ice cream on a snowy day is nothing to me…

B：You’re shivering like crazy. Please, give it up already!

A：我就說我很強壯吧！你看，下雪天吃冰淇淋對我來說根本不算什麼…

B：你根本抖到不行吧。別再ㄍㄧㄥ了！
