要形容經常道人長短的長舌婦、長舌公，千萬不要說：You have a long tongue. （×）而是要說：You’re such a bigmouth!（你「大嘴巴」很喜歡說人家是非、道人長短。）另外台灣人還很喜歡用「開廣播電台」來形容某人喜歡講八卦、消息又靈通，可以說：「You’re such a gossip!」

A：I heard you hooked up with a rich guy who drives you around in a convertible and takes you to fancy restaurants.

B：Did Rita tell you that? She’s such a bigmouth.

A：聽說妳最近搭上一個有錢人，他開跑車接送妳，還帶妳去吃高級料理？

B：是不是莉塔告訴妳的啊？她真是個長舌婦。
